GREECE WILL LAUNCH A DIPLOMATIC ATTACK AGAINST TURKEY

According to the Greek media, Greece will soon start a new diplomatic offensive against Turkey's provocations in the eastern Mediterranean.

Apparently, the Greek Ministry of Foreign affairs will soon begin a serious campaign against Turkish aggression on a number of fronts, including writing to the EU Foreign Minister, Josep Borel, the Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, and the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo.

Official complaints will be made against Turkey, with the International Maritime Organisation and the Civil Aviation Organisation over the country's statement that it will be responsible for the search and rescues in broad swathes of the Black and Aegean Seas.

Accompanied by its own maps, the statement shows the area claimed by Turkey, including parts of Cyprus and clearly infringes on zones that are in Greek maritime territories.

The Greek media report that the European border control agency, FRONTEX, will soon be briefed about the issue, by Greek authorities and that the Greek Embassy in Ankara will file an official complaint with the Turkish government against their continuous aggression.
