PUTIN SAYS RUSSIA IS READY TO NEGOTIATE BUT UKRAINE REFUSES

 Russia is ready to negotiate with all parties involved in the conflict with Ukraine, but Kyiv and its Western backers refused to engage in lies, Rusian President Vladimir Putin told Rossiya State Television in an interview on Synday. 

"We are ready to negotiate with everyone involved about an acceptible solution, but that is up to them we are not the only ones refusing to negotiate, they are." the Russian President said. 

"I believe we are acting in the right direction,  We are depending on the national interests of our citizens, our people and we have no choice but to protect our citizens." he added.  

Mykaile Podolyyak, adviser to President Zelensky, book to Twitter to comment on Putin's claims "Russia singlehanded attacked Ukraine killing 20 citizens and injurining hundreds."  

In the same interview, Putin accuses the West of having begun the conflict in Ukraine in 2014 Pro-Russian protests Reuters reports.
