GREECE ASKS PANAMA TO INVESTIGATE ACCOUNT OF EVA KAILI OVER QUATARGATE


 Authorites in Greece have asked Panama to investigate whether the suspects of the Quatergate scandal, Eva Kaili and her Italian partner, Franesco Giorgi received bribes from Quatar. 

Charalambos Vourliotis, the head of Greece's anti-money laudering agency has urgently written to his couterpart in Panama to inquire about the possibility that 60 million euros in remittances have been transferred to their account.  

The accounts are alleged to be with Bladex, a bank headquaters in Panama and belongs to Kaili's parents with 20 million euros.  They appear to include 20 million euros for her and 20 million euros for her partner.
