100 g white tarama fish roe
300 g stale white bread
3/4 cup olive oil
1 medium onion peeled and grated
Juice of 2 lemons
To prepare taramasalata start by soaking the bread and squeezing it to remove excess water.
In a food processor add the bread, grated onion and the tarama. Blend until the ingredients are mashed. Pour in half the lemon juice and olive oil alteranately until the mixture resembles mayonnaise.
PLEASE DON'T FORGET THAT THE PARTHENON MARBLES MUST RETURN TO GREECE.
