TWELVE LABORS OF HERCULES EXEMPLIFIES GREEK MYTHOLOGY

The twelve labours of Hercules occupy a special place in the Pantheon of Greek mythology. and in the world of ancient Greeks.

Touching on the themes of madness and murder the Twelve Labors of Hercules exemplify a great many of the ancient beliefs about human nature and even explains how the constellations and the Milky Way itself were focused.

Many areas in Greece, especially on the Peloponnesian Penninsula are mentioned in part of the Labors he has performed and many of them today are recognized for the part they played in Greek mythology.

The Twelve Labors were later connected with continuous narratve, in the form of an epic poem which has tragically been lost, written by Peisander, dating back to 600 BC.
