THE MONTH OF JUNE

 

                                 

      

June was most likely be named after the Roman goddess Juno, patroness of marriage and the well-being of women. Also, “juventis” is Latin for youth.

  

June is the 6^th month of the Julian and the Gregorian calendars.  The month of June brings bouquets of roses and other beautiful flowers, love, and marriage, I was a June bride, and delicious fruits and vegetables.

On June 20^th is the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere and Fathers’ Day.
