21st June

June 21st June marks the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and the Winter Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere.  It has always been a time to celebrate, a moment of abundance filled with the potential for growth.  Apparently, the pagan summer solstice festival was named after Lither, the goddess of fertility and power.

During this summer solstice, as the world starts to emerge from the long hibernation of the pandemic. We can feel the change as we enter the longest day of the year.

For us, in Europe, it is Midsummer, the day with the most hours of sunlight!
