TRENDS

 

 


In 2020, the world changed dramatically.  Millions of people were attacked by  the terrible COVID -19, thousands of patients are intubated in a very serious condition, and many have, unfortunately, died.

 



Due to this awful disease, very strict measures had to be imposed, we all must wear masks, keep distances and stay at home.  These measures brought economies to a standstill and is tragic for companies, all over the world.  Our only hope is the anti-COVID vaccine which, according to medical experts, will not be offered to the broad public before the spring of 2021.

 



While staying at home, besides reading, learning a new language and listening to music a new trend has become popular, which is abstaining from alcohol, drinking NOLOs, an reviation for No and Low, a British non-alcoholic beer or 0% spirits that have the advantage to spend an evening without getting drunk.

 

Another trend is self-esteem and body positivity, which is growing on the Internet.  We do not have to be flawless in looks and weight. (I personally, do not agree about weight because it is very unhealthy.)

 





A global trend is a movement of equality between the genders which is a rule in the western world, but there are some countries, that are male-oriented, where women and girls suffer various kinds of abuse and go through terrible ordeals.



 


Also, there is a growing “eco-logical” awareness trend.  Many companies, that are against global warming, try to produce merchandise that protects or does not expose the environment while others have closed due to the pandemic. 

 




We are very proud of these trends that show restraint, equality and environmental sensibility, during these very difficult times and we are extremely sad for all losses, both  physical and economic
