Former President of Uruguay, Luis Alberto Lacalle de Hererra, lauded his country's ties with Greece during a press conference during the weekend.
"Greece is everwhere in Uruguay," Lacalle said speaking on the sidelines of the Concordia Americas Summit held in Florida.
"Greece is everywhere in Uruguay we share the same culture. For a start we belong to the Greek Roman Christian Civilizations, In our education the history of Greece is very important." he added
