An ancient Roman shrine, of the Greek god Dionysus, was discovered buried beaneath the graveyard of Leister Cathedral in the United Kingdom.
The discoveries around the cathedral grounds seem to confirm an old tradition that the site of Christian worshp was built over much older Roman ruins
