TRADITIONAL SPETZOFAI


 

Ingredients

4 medium spicy sausages, sliced

2 cloves garlic. peeled and mince

2 oions, peeled and siced

Green pepper, yellow pepper red pepper sweet red pepper all sliced

1 tin of chopped  tomatoes tso

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 cup water

4-5 tbsp olive oil

1 glass of red wine 

1 tsp sugar

Salt  and pepper to taste

1 bay leaf


Saute the onionm garlic, peppers in olive oil our in water. tomato sauce and simmer until the peppers are tender and the sauce thickens and discard the bay leaf. Serve with crusty bread.
