LORD BYRON THE ROMANTIC POET WHO DIED FOR GREECE



 




Lord Byron, one of the most famous phiellenes  actually participated in Greece's War of Independence eventually losing his life in Messologi on Aprll 19th 1824. 

Born in 1788 who had the title of Lord Byron became the leading figure in British Romanticism at the beginning of the 19th century. He lived a full life in every aspect and died young for the cause he was passionate about the liberation of Greece from the Ottoman Turks.

Young, handsome and aristocratic Byron lived exuberently and had innumerable romances and scandalous relationships although his acts of selfless heroism became part of a wider hisrory sample. 

PLEASE DON'T FORGET THAT THE PARTHENON MARBLES MUST RETURN TO GREECE
