BLIND AND HOMELESS GREEK PIANIST OVERCOMES THE ODDS

Anastasios Pagonides, a Greek pianist, originally from Athens did not let blidness and homelessness stop him from pursuing his dream of becoming a pianist.

The Greek musician who moved from Athens to London was left almost blind from a brain tumor and his doctor gave him at least 6 months to live when he was first diagnosed.

Despite the grim medical prognosis, Pagonides who is now 18 years old was able to teach himself to play the piano and he now teaches piano at at St Mary Church in Wiksworth Derbyshire.

PLEASE DON'T FORGET THAT THE PARTHENON MARBLES MUST RETURN TO GREECE
