Protesters and police in Paris have clashed fora third night as thousands took to the streets across the country and workers of the refineries went on strike to oppose the government's pension policy of raising the state pension age without a parliamentary vote.
The growing unrest has left President Macron with the greatest challenge to his authority since the so-called Jillets Jaunes Yellow Vests protests that happened in 2018
