Spring is almost in the air and we Greeks celebrate the new season an annual tradition regardess of age. It is made of white and red thread and is worn from the beginning of March until the end of the month.
The ancient tradition of Martis, from which the month of March derives its name dates back to the cult of Demetra and Persephone a thousand years ago in ancient Greece.
