Liz Truss becomes new UK Prime Minister
She won beating Rishi Sunak in the bitterly fought Conservative Party leadership contest. She has been a Member of Parliament for South West Norfork since 2010 and she has served in various cabinet positions under three Prime Ministers.
She is a member of the think tank. She served as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Children and Education from 2012-1914 before being appointed by Cameron as Secretary of State and Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, in the 2014 cabinet reshuffle. She supported Brexit and she wrote a number of papers and books including "After the Coalition" and "Britania Unchained".
