GREEK AND FRENCH ALLiANCE

Greek Parliament approves arms deal with France amid tensions with Turkey.  Greece's parliament approved a 3 billion Euro agreement for 3 new French-made frigates that defense officials say are vital for addressing ongoing tensions with Turkey.

Lawmakers also voted in favor of adding six new Rafael fighter jets to the existing order of 18 airplanes, six of them newly built, and twelve that were previously in service with the French airforce.

NATO members Greece and Turkey remain at odds over maritime boundaries and mineral exploitation rights in the eastern Mediterranean. Turkish aggression against Greece is, unfortunately, constant.
