EUROPEAN CULTURE NEWS

At Musee d'Orsay, empty of spectators due to the coronavirus epidemic, the Orchestre de Paris has recorded a concert in May  2021.

This was an opportunity for conductor Pablo Horas-Casado to fulfill his "mission" of bringing the "museum  and music to the home."

Sandra Bernhard, music programmer at the Musee d'Orsay: "The idea is to be able to touch a virtual audience, to let them enjoy this concert and to to be able to see, perhaps, in more detail what they could not have seen otherwise, that is to say, everything the museum has to offer: the paintings and everything we can bring in addition to the music that the Orchestre de Paris brings."

                                                Soprano Sabine Deveilhe

"We have an audience which is marbled nature, but then it will vibrate because, of course. there are works that are present that will listen, I think, with great desire and  pleasure to the Orchestre de Paris, Pablo Heras-Casado, and the soprano Sabine Devielhe, "
