MEAT SUBSTITUTES AND VEGAN DIETS

 

 




As they are 78 million vegans in the world, I am giving below a list of meat substitutes, vegetables and salads, olive oil, wine and chocolate, that if we consume, we shall be as healthy as if were following an omnivorous diet.




 Pulses:

Lentils, beans, chickpeas, peas, split peas, broad beans, black-eyed peas and soya beans  (tofu, soya milk etc.)






Nuts:

Almonds, cashews, pecans, peanuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, walnuts, filberts, Hickory nuts, Macadamia nuts and chestnuts



Grains:

Wheat, all kinds of rice, barley, oats, corn, rye, spelt, sesame seeds and byproducts








All kinds of vegetables, fruit, salads and greens (horta)











Sugar, wine, alcoholic drinks, olive oil and all vegetable oils, vinegar, dark chocolate and cocoa
