COMPENDIUM OF CULTURAL POLICES AND TRENDS IN EUROPE

The Compendium of Cultural Policies and Trends is a web-based and permanently updated information and mobility system of cultural policies in the European Union.

The compendium has been run by the Council of Europe as a joint venture with ERIcares initiative run from 1998-2017, the Compendium acquired a new, more dynamic governance and business model and is now run by the Compendium of Cultural Policies and Trends, the seat of which is in the Netherlands.   The Association Structure enables most Stakeholders and specialists in the fields of culture to play the role in the Compendium’s development.

The targets of the Compendium of Cultural Policies and Trends in Europe are:

1. Researchers to conduct comparative policy analysis.

2.  Networks for providing input for their own countries comparing them with other countries.

3. Students as an information resource they can use in their courses on cultural administration and policy.
