1 onion, peeled and grated
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
3 tbsp olive oil divided
500 g (1 lb) spaghetti boiled in salted water, drained and drizzled with a little olive oil
500 g (1lb) clams, thoroughly scrubbed
Water
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp cream
Sauté the onion and garlic with some olive oil until thoroughly cooked. Add the clams after discarding the shells and simmer gently after adding a little water. Season to taste and add the spaghetti and mix everything well together and pour over the cream
