IN WORLD COURT - INDIAN JUDGE VOTES AGAIINST RUSSIA FOR INVADING UKAINE

The UN's top  court ordered  Russia to suspend its invasion of Ukraine saying: it was profoundly concerned by Moscow's use of force. The Russian Federation should immediately stop military operations that commenced on 24th February on the territory of Ukraine. 

Pending its final decision of the case, presiding judge Joan Donahue told the International Court of Justice:

"The court is extremely concerned about the use of force by the Russian Federation which raises very serious issues of International Law", Justice Donahue told a hearing at The Hague. 

Kyiv dragged Moscow to the UN's top court after Russia's attack on February 14th.

India's judge, Dalvar Bhandan, also voted against Russia.
