The world's best gourmet olive oil is Greek. An acclaimed olive oil producer from Sparta, southern Greece has won the prestigious EVCO global olive oil awards 2022 for its exqisite gourmet olive oils as well as the first four places in the Top 5 Flavored Oils of the world launching Greece to the top spot in this category.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms won the first position in the world as a company producer of gourmet olive oils as well as the first four placesin the top 5 Flavored Oils of the World 2022 for their quality and taste.
A total ten gourmet olive oils of the same producer ranked in the first 20 of the world and the Best Flavored Olive Oils for the year 2022 and it contributed 35% for the total points received by Greece in the Flavored Oil of the World's category of global ranking.
"At the end of each olive harvest year, the World Association of Journalists and Writers of Wines and Spirits (WAWWJ) collects and ranks all the olive oils that have been selected and recognized international competion for taste and quality with the method of blind tasting based on the laws of the International Olive Oil Council," Sakerallopoulos Organic Farms explained on their website.
