ERDOGAN THE UNDISCRIBABLE

Erdogan the New International Threat

Surely the Turkish president would like to be remembered as "Erdogan the Great" but unfortunately, he is rash, unforgiving, unfair, deplorable and unethical, a constant pursuer of Turkish patriots, therefore dangerous, but also an absurd personality.

I wish that I didn't have to deal with such an undescribable character but he is constantly in the news because of his perilous and rediculous words and acts.

Despite warnings from the European Union and the United States Erdogan continues to provoke and speak aggressively against  Greece.  Speaking at an inauguration ceremony he said: "Either they will understand that we are right, politically and diplomatically or they will experience it painfully on the battlefield."

Last month, Erdogan sent an oil and gas exploration vessel, Oruc Rais, in Greek territorial waters, in the eastern Mediterranean, to the strong reactions of the international community.

The EU but especially France are of Greece's side.  France sent the aircraft carrier "Charles de Gaulle" to the territory and it will be engaged in exercises with the Greek Navy in the not so distant future.

Yesterday, Erdogan threatened to sink the French aircraft carrier and shoot a Greek airforce pilot through the head.

How very unfortunate we, Greeks, are to have such deplorable and dangerous neighbours.
