MYCENEAN ERA TOMB UNEARTHED IN CENTRAL GREECE


 A volted tomb of the Mycenean era was excavated in Amphecleia in  central Greece might lead to a yet uncovered Mycenean settlement close to the ruins of the ancient town of Tithrenium.

Archaeologist Dr Petros  Kounouklos who led the surface excavations on behalf of the local Ephoriate of antiquities in the winter 2022. insisted that a Mycenean tomb was unearthed in Amphecleia.
