MON REPOS THE HISTORIC CORFU VILLA WHERE PRINCE PHILIP WAS BORN

 

Prince Philip who died in 2021 at the age  99, was born on the dining room table of the villa Mon Repos in the island of Corfu.

The French name which means My Rest was a place for rest for the Greek Royals of the past century.

Mon Repos is now a small museum under the municipality of Corfu The permanent display is over 20 Galleries.
