Putin ordered his troops to “keep the peace” in two separatist
areas, in eastern Ukraine, only hours after recognizing Donetsk and Luhansk as
autonomous states.
Following Putin’s recognition of the two separatist enclaves
in Ukraine as separate entities, President Joe Biden authorized extra US
soldiers to go into NATO member states in eastern Europe. Biden claimed he had “authorized increased moves
of US soldiers” stationed in Europe to NATO partners in Europe, especially in the
Baltics. “US sanctions against Russia
will remain tight,” Biden said. The
first punishment aims to prevent Russia from getting aid from western countries
while Ukraine will be offered extra financial and political aid from its western
allies. One can
find panels all over Ukraine writing: “Russians Welcome to Hell”. We like the Russian people, but their leader believes
in the Great Russian Empire and has tzarist inclinations. Large companies are leaving Russia because they
are against the invasion of Ukraine and a great number of women, children and
elderly people are leaving Ukraine, while men stay in Ukraine to fight the foe.
Congratulations!
