MARCH IN GREECE

                                                        

 

 

Although March is the first month of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, we have had bitterly cold weather in Greece, this year.  We were completely ice-bound for two weeks in early March. I don’t remember this happening in Ireland and Switzerland when I was a student.  In Greece, we say "MARTIS YTHARTIS" which indicates the ferocity of the weather.  Anyway, March is ending, and I hope April will be kinder to us.
