Smaragda Kaydis is a beautiful and talented Greek actress. She was born in Athens on the 9th August 1969, She is rather tall for a greek girl 5' 11''. She graduated from the Drama School of the Greek National Theatre.
She has worked as an actress on Greek television in primary and secondary roles and in series. From 2005 until 2007 she had one of the main roles in the popular TV series "Sto Para Pente",
She has also starred in the films "Thiliki Etairia" written by Nikos Perakis, in 1999. and "O Kalyteros mou Filos", written by Lakis Lazopoulos and the cinema adaptation of the theatrical play "Mia Melissa ton Avgouisto" written by Theodoros Atheridis in 2007.
Smaragda is the daughter of Dinos Karydis and Tzoulia Argyropoulos. She later starred with her father in "Fila ton Vatraho mou" (Frog or not).
She is married to Theodoros Ateridis but thewy have no children,
