Horror of Ukraine war seen in the outdoor photo in the heart of Athens
The tragedy of the Ukrainian war has been captured in an
original photo exhibition in the centre of Athens co-organised by the
Municipality of Athens and the Embassy of Ukraine.
From May 15th, Queen Olga’s Avenue hosts an
open-air exhibition with 57 photos, mainly works of photojournalists from
around the warzone.
Among them is award-winning photojournalist Aris Messinis head
of the French Agency of Greece. The
exhibition was inaugurated by the Mayor of Athens, Kostas Bakoyiannis and the
Ambassador of Ukraine Sergeii Shutenko.
