Civilian casualties continue to rise in Ukraine amid continued Russian attacks, on cities across the country. But Ukrainian armed forces said that the "pace of Russian invasion has slowed down significantly." It comes after the U.N. called for safe passages to be established in Ukraine so that civilians can leave, following failed evacuations, due to Russia's violations of multiple cease-fire
agreements. President Biden said that the nation would stop buying Russian oil, McDonald's closed 850 restaurants in Russia. Also, the UK announced it would phase out Russian oil imports by the end of 2022.
