The ancient shpwrecck of Prtistera off the Greek island of Alonissos dubed the Parthenon of shipwrecks opened in May 2021 for divers who can now visit the famous site of amphorae from the 3rd century BC
Because of looting concerns the undersea antiquities was previously accesible only to archaologists and those with special permission.
Now divers can plunge into the waters at about 80 feet under the so-called 0Peristera named after the neighbouring islet. As the shpwreck dates back 42 BC diving to it is like travelling in a time-machine,
PLEASE DON'T FORGET THAT THE PARTHENON MARBLES MUST RETURN TO GREECE
NEW DEMCRASCY IS EXCELLENT FOR GREECE
