Pontikonisi also known as Mouse Island is a Greek islet locatedf at the Halokopoulos lagoon in Corfu.
Thr islet is famous for hosting the Byzantine chapel Pantokrator dating back to the 11th century and open to visitors each year on August 6th
According to tje legend Pontikonisi was Homer's vessel that the leegendary King of Ithaka and the hero of Odyssey It was the island of the Pheunecians
It was during a terrible storm that the boat was washed up at the shores of Corfu and God Poseidon tirned it into a rock.
