SEVEN ALTERNATIVE GREEK ISLANDS YOU MUST VISIT 

     ANAFI is a small island located in the southern Cyclades.  According to Greek mythology, Anafi emerged from the bottom of the Aegean Sea in order to give shelter to the Argonauts.  It has crystal clear waters and its capital is Chora which is a blend of white houses, picturesque beaches, and alleys. 


  ASTYPALIA This Greek island can be described as a little drop of heaven where the deep blue sea meets the white-washed houses.  Chora is the capital and has an imposing castle on the hill.  


NISYROS this volcanic island of the Small Cyclades.  Stavros is the capital and Donousa is perfect for swimmers, hikers, and underwater fishers.

THASSOS is an island of green and blue colors and a fantastic landscape the village of Theologos is a must-see with rich cultural interest.


ITHAKA is the symbolic end of Odysseus's travels and adventures, one of the greatest stories ever told.  It is close to Kefalonia and Vathy is the capital. Part of it combines the Ionian Sea and the aura of the Swiss lakes scenery.  It is worth visiting especially the Cave of the Nymphs where legend has it that Odysseus hid there the gifts of King Alkonoos of the Phoenicians
