According to the Greek press, Greece is becoming the
Hollywood of Europe as it appears as the
cinema industry's favourite destination for “high-end” productions.
Boycotting the uncertainty that COVID-19 has brought upon the international filming industry, Greece sees Hollywood film crews and glamorous star castes for the second year running. This is due to the appropriate application of strict safety protocols and the successful aquirements of local, but mainly of foreign, strong financial industry plans.
For instance, in Thessaloniki camouflaged as Florida, Antonio Banderas is acting in "Baracuda".
