Washington's tilt in favour of Athens aggravated Turkey who insults Greece saying that the Greek islands of the Aegean Sea are Turkish.
Turkish President Erdogan is famous for his outbursts of anger. In recent months, he has focused against the Greek government and its Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
"For me, no one named Mitsotakis will exist from now on," said Erdogan, "I shall never accept seeing him again."
According to the Greek Ministry of Defence, between January and October 2022, a total of 8.880 violations of Greek airspace by Turkish planes and drones were recorded, compared with 2.744 the previous year
