HOLY FRIDAY
On Holy Friday our Lord Jesus Christ died, nailed on the
cross, after the tragically wrong decision of Pilatus from Pontus. His mother, the Virgin Mary, and some of his disciples
were also present, weeping but being certain of His resurrection, according to
the scripts.
In Greece, it is usually a sunless day, with the church bells
ringing mournfully for this great religious tragedy.
