CAN THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC BE DEFEATED BY 2022?

 

The World Health Organisation raises hopes of the pandemic ending despite infection rates breaking records. It is now the 3^rd year of the pandemic.

 

COVID -19 has infected 300 million people and killed 5.5 million and numbers of the omicron variant are breaking records across the world.

 

Despite this, WHO believes that the pandemic will end by March 2022, if countries work together, being thrice injected, wearing masks, keeping distances, and keeping as healthy as possible.  

Last Monday, the schools opened in Greece and the Minister of Education, Mrs Niki Kerameos, said that they were under strict guidelines and Covid 19 measures.  Masks and keeping distances are mandatory.  Free self-tests have been available in the pharmacies in Greece for all students and for the teachers AMKA and ID cards are required.
