TERROR AND ANGER IN BANGLADESH AND IRAK

Unfortunately, twenty innocent hostages were hacked to death, with swords and crude bombs, in a trendy restaurant in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Many Iraqis were celebrating the end of the month of Ramadan, in the centre of Baghdad, when a small minivan, packed with explosives, was detonated killing at least 200 and injuring hundreds.  ISIS claimed responsibility for both these cowardly civilian mass murders.

These two blood-curdling terrorist acts and the one in Istanbul were three mass slaughters that took place in less that a week across three Muslim countries, of which ISIS claimed responsibility.     How could such hideous crimes be committed against innocent victims, most of whom were children, by fellow Muslims who claim that they are acting according to the rules of “their religion"?   What kind of a religion is this that trains its followers to slaughter, destroy and obliterate whoever does not believe in their insanity?    Of course, there is no need to say that Islam is deadly against this gruesome madness.

On the other hand, there is great enthusiasm at CERN, as physicists have discovered or confirmed four new "tetraquark" particles, "heralding a new era in physics".    As I'm a perfect ignoramus, I shall quote the scientists: " ...studying them could help us understand how bigs quarks interact..........but they might have a minor role in the makeup of the Universe", they announced.
