HORROR IN ORLANDO

In the early hours of Sunday the 12th June, Omar Mateen, an American-born, 29-year old of Afghan origin, killed 49 and injured 54, in a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.  This is the worst ever mass shooting that has taken place in the U.S.A.

Besides the fact that Mateen was twice investigated by the F.B.A. for possible terrorist inclinations or ties, he was allowed to purchase powerful, deadly weapons with which he caused this terrible carnage.

Our thoughts and prays are with the victims' families and friends, and our deep sympathy to the city of Orlando.

According to recent information, besides being homophobic, Mateen was, apparently, electronically  fundamentalized,  a " lone wolf"  who, without any evident help from the ISIS criminals, slaughtered and injured so many innocent citizens.
